DISINFO: US radical globalists make efforts to avoid a quick peace in Ukraine

Radical globalists are genuinely alarmed by the prospect of a "quick peace" in Ukraine, though it seems unlikely. The Biden administration fears that halting the conflict could trigger a reassessment of American commitments worldwide. The web of interests pushing the US and NATO toward direct conflict with Russia is very tight. They may intensify efforts to provoke conflict with Russia in the two months before Trump's inauguration.

This is a recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative accusing Western countries of warmongering. This baseless claim was made in the context of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine and is presented without any supporting evidence. It also portrays the war in Ukraine as a proxy conflict against Russia, aiming to deflect Russia’s responsibility for the brutal invasion of its neighbour.
Some EU member states, the US and other G7 nations are providing Ukraine with military and technical assistance to help it repel Russia's aggression and restore its sovereignty over its internationally recognised borders of 1991. Ukraine is acting in self-defence, in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter.
Western nations have always called to solve problems with Russia in a peaceful and diplomatic manner while upholding the rules-based international order. Moscow’s overall aggressive policy has led to a tougher and better-balanced policy towards it by the West.
Since the very beginning of Russia’s unjustified and unprovoked aggression against Ukraine on 24 February 2022, the US and European nations have expressed support for a negotiated settlement, but they insist it must respect Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. That is why they are not pressuring Ukraine into accepting terms that would legitimise Russian illegal territorial gains.
The US and the EU are providing military, financial, and humanitarian support to Ukraine. This support is aimed at helping Ukraine defend its sovereignty against Russia’s aggression rather than escalating the war. Western leaders agree that a strong Ukrainian position is necessary for any negotiations.
Russia launched its aggression against Ukraine on 20 February 2014 by the illegal annexation of the Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea and has since been escalating the situation. Weeks after the annexation, Russia instigated a separatist revolt in parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk Regions in the East of Ukraine. On 24 February 2024, Russia began the ongoing full-scale invasion.
