DISINFO: US will transfer their double-use biological research facilities from Ukraine to Africa
SUMMARY
The Russian Defence Ministry stated that the US will transfer their double use biological research [facilities] from Ukraine to Africa. The US developed weapons that can target specific human groups, tribes or even clans. They collected the DNA of 4 tribes in Cameroon. Africans must be very careful when they go to hospital or for a vaccination or medical examination, their DNA can be sampled to develop high tech biological weapons. All European countries do the same research all over the world. Ukraine was a perfect playground for that research, but they have been driven out of Ukraine and now they look for a new territory.
In Africa there are bad memories about biological weapons developed by the West. AIDS for instance, no one understood that this disease, which killed millions of people in Africa and that was discovered in the 1980 is cured by molecules developed in the 1950ies. It just doesn’t make sense! It is like COVID-19, who are the companies that own the Wuhan P3 laboratory from where the epidemic allegedly emerged. In reality, the disease existed years before! There are videos about this! NAPALM was also used against civil populations at the time of independence struggles.
RESPONSE
Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative alleging that US is developing biological weapons in Ukraine, and that these weapons can target specific ethic groups. This message also advances conspiracy theories about the origins of AIDS, and COVID19.
The claim is presented with zero evidence and as this article from Newsweek explains:
"This claim belongs purely in the realm of science fiction! Humans are just too genetically similar to find something that would affect only certain people and not others," Oliver Jones, head of biosciences and food technology at RMIT University in Melbourne Australia.
There is nothing sinister about Ukraine’s civilian public health laboratories, whose work is indeed public and funded by global institutions. The country has dozens of civilian public health laboratories that work to research and mitigate the threats of dangerous diseases, some of which receive financial and other support from the US, the EU and the World Health Organization (WHO), which pro-Kremlin disinformation falsely portrayed as military sites, deliberately blurring the line between biological weapons and legitimate biological research.
Allegation that the CIA developed AIDS to harm African populations is a well know conspiracy theory developed by the KGB during the Cold War. The research into the origins of COVID-19 is ongoing. There is no evidence to the claims that the virus was engineered by humans, let alone that it targets certain ethnicities. WHO estimates that COVID-19 took caused nearly 7 million deaths all around the world.
