DISINFO: USA wants to disintegrate Turkiye
SUMMARY
There is currently only one serious obstacle to the US and the West taking full control of the Middle East. Thus, Turkey, which has been growing stronger since the beginning of the 2000s, persistently resists attempts to place the region under the hegemony of the United States. Ankara understands with full accuracy that the plans for the disintegration of Turkey are among the strategic goals of the US and the West.

A disinformation narrative which portrays the US and the West as enemies of Turkiye which attempt to destroy or disintegrate it. However, the US and other Western countries have good economic and political relations with Turkey. This narrative circulates in the context of the coup attempt in Turkiye in 2016, claiming that the USA organised the coup. This narrative has been debunked several times.
The USA has nothing with the coup attempt in Turkiye in 2016. The US and Turkiye have very positive relations in terms of politics and economy. Both Turkiye and the USA are members of NATO. Trade between these two states was about 30 Billion USD in 2023. Turkiye hosts a US military air base at Incirlik. Additionally, the president of Turkiye, Erdogan, has recently stated that they are pleased with the development of the relations with the USA.
