DISINFO: Victory plan is Kyiv's desire to involve NATO in war

For Volodymyr Zelenskyy, continuing the military conflict is a way to stay in power, as well as to preserve his status, money and security guarantees, hence, Zelenskyy's desire that Ukraine joins NATO before the end of the year, allowing it to launch strikes deep into Russian territory. The claim that Zelenskyy wants to continue the war with Russia to maintain his power, wealth, and security is a grave distortion of facts. His calls for military support from NATO and other allies-as part of Ukraine's victory plan are aimed at resisting Russia's aggression and restoring Ukraine’s borders. This is the sole focus of Ukraine's political leadership. Such accusations serve to deflect attention from Russia's responsibility for starting the full-scale invasion.
Ukraine is acting in self-defence, in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter. Kyiv has been consistently advocating a just end to the war on the basis of international law and the United Nations Charter. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented a 10-point peace plan at a EU-Ukraine summit in February 2023, which received full support from the European Union. Among other points, this plan calls for a complete Russian withdrawal from Ukraine and the restoration of its territorial integrity within the internationally recognised borders of 1991.
