DISINFO: The West is instigating Ukraine to carry out acts of nuclear terrorism

SUMMARY

The West is instigating Ukraine to carry out acts of nuclear terrorism[...]. Anglo-Saxons are tacitly pushing Kyiv towards a dangerous escalation, including the creation of a dirty bomb. A whole network of US laboratories is working on biological weapons under the pretext of fighting certain biological threats.

RESPONSE

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narratives about nuclear issues and biological weapons aiming to justify Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.

Similar unfounded allegations about Ukraine’s preparations to use a dirty bomb have been previously debunked multiple times (see here, here and here). Baseless claims about US biolaboratories have also been refuted often (see here, here, here and here).

No evidence is provided to back the claims. Allegations made by Russia’s intelligence services cannot be considered as such, given their proven history of making unsubstantiated claims based on faked or non-existent evidence, for example about US biolaboratories in Ukraine or the presence of French combat troops on the Ukrainian frontlines.

See other examples of similar disinformation narratives here, such as claims that Ukraine is using methods of nuclear terrorism against Russia, that Ukraine plans a provocation using a "dirty bomb" to portray Russia as a nuclear terrorist, that American laboratories are collecting biological data from Eurasian residents to create bio ethnic weapons, or that NATO transformed Ukraine into an existential threat to Russia.
