DISINFO: West is practising green neo-colonialism to maintain US-control over the whole world
SUMMARY
The West is practising green neo-colonialism. What are the goals of the US-European Green Deal, which is now the founding dogma for the almost ubiquitous climate religion?
It was never truly about achieving the goals promised to the voting and anxious public in the West through PR and media campaigns regarding the green energy transition. The urgent need to "save the climate" is merely a catchphrase intended to conceal the true motives. Based on the figures showing that internationally mandated green energy isn't a rational business project, the question arises: what else could it be? Who benefits from these developments? The term "green neocolonialism" is introduced to describe efforts to consolidate the unipolar world order, under U.S. control since 1990, through dominance of financial infrastructure, technology, and logistics.
RESPONSE
This claim is part of the Russian state oil company Rosneft's push to keep carbon energy high.
The claim that the Green New Deal is being pursued to consolidate the unipolar world order is disinformation. This assertion oversimplifies complex global dynamics and grossly misrepresents the motivations behind the Green New Deal.
The New Green Deal is primarily aimed at addressing urgent environmental challenges such as climate change and biodiversity loss. It seeks to transition economies toward sustainability, rather than serving as a tool for geopolitical control. The assertion that it is designed to reinforce U.S. dominance ignores the collaborative nature of global climate initiatives, which involve multiple nations working together to achieve common goals.
The world is increasingly characterised by multipolarity, with rising powers such as China and India asserting their influence. The notion that the Green Deal is merely a vehicle for U.S. hegemony fails to account for these shifting power dynamics. Countries around the world are developing their own green policies and initiatives independent of U.S. influence, reflecting a broader recognition of the need for sustainable development.
While it is true that the U.S. together with other Western powers has historically played a significant role in shaping global economic and political structures, the idea that the Green Deal serves solely to 'maintain the US-control' is a misleading exaggeration.
Many countries are now prioritising renewable energy and sustainability as part of their national strategies, demonstrating a collective shift towards addressing climate issues rather than simply following U.S. directives. Preventing dangerous consequences of climate change is a key priority for the EU.
