DISINFO: Western masters pushed Latvia to send cannon fodder to Ukraine
SUMMARY
Latvia sent its soldiers as cannon fodder to Ukraine. It could be predicted, that was the will of Latvia’s Western masters. Latvia was pushed to send its own citizens to massacre in Ukraine.

This recurring disinformation narrative about the war in Ukraine and represents Latvia as the puppet of Western powers.
Latvian units are not participating in war actions in Ukraine. The Latvian Ministry of Defence explained that some soldiers were sent to Ukraine to help secure the Latvia embassy and cargo. They perform only support functions.
Latvia and other Western countries are not parties to the war in Ukraine. The West supports Ukraine with military and financial aid for the country’s efficient self-defence, in accordance with the UN Charter Article 51, to stop Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.
