DISINFO: World Wars were the result of Anglo-Saxon intrigues

Russia and Germany would have shared the world leadership in the first half of the twentieth century, if it was not for the two world wars in which, as a result of Anglo-Saxon intrigues, they were forced to fight against each other.
RESPONSE
This message is an example of a narrative shift about the two world wars. Kremlin's policy of historical revisionism stands on the attempts to undermine or deny Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact on the one hand and on another hand on accusing European countries of cooperating with Nazi Germany. In this case, Germany is portrayed as a victim of European countries, which was dragged into the war unwillingly. "The Anglo-Saxons" have appeared as a "go-to bogeyman" for pro-Kremlin disinformation outlets; an evil force behind all geopolitical processes.
Neither WWI nor WWII has nothing to do with "Anglo-Saxon intrigues". Multiple reasons are cited as the cause of WWI: nationalism, militarism, mutual defence alliances, colonial policy and the killing of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. A final green light for unleashing WWII for Nazi Germany was a non-aggression pact between Germany and the Soviet Union. German troops invaded Poland on September 1, 1939. On September 17, 1939, Soviet troops entered eastern Poland. USSR and Nazi Germany even held a common military parade in Brest-Litovsk.
